Warehouse Associate with CDL |Shawano|HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Position Overview:

Pay: $19.46-$24.20

Schedule: 2-2-3 Non-Swing Shift Days 4:30 AM- 4:30 PM

Position Summary: 

While working in a safe, efficient manner, while always keeping quality in mind. Works in a cooperative team environment that aids production and warehouse operations. Performs all other duties or tasks as required by supervision.  

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: 

• Holds a valid Class A CDL 

• Shuttle trailers between plants in a one block radius. 

• Parks trailers in designated locations while following company safety practices. 

• Adheres to all DOT regulations and follows company food safety practices. 

• Monitors DEF and Diesel fuel levels. Replenishes, when necessary, with company provided means.   

• Load and unload products and supplies and process paperwork according to SOP/Work instructions.  

• Wrap finished goods accurately according to the pallet wrapping code provided. 

• Generate accurate labels by counting product correctly. 

• Pick inventory and stage on warehouse dock floor or into trailers. 

• Generate Packing Lists/Bill of Ladings. 

• Accurately label pallets with “Pro” stickers per carrier.  

• Operate overhead doors and loading dock mechanics.  

• Perform trailer and product inspections prior to loading or unloading. 

• Ensure idle time is used on “value-added” tasks and activities (i.e. housekeeping, audit warehouse, yard check). 

• Check accuracy entry of shipments and receipts made into SAP. 

• Communicate issues to warehouse manager or logistics coordinator. 

• Follow all standard work or job instructions (SOP’s). 

• Communicate with co-workers any information that pertains to shipping and receiving. 

• Complete all (including export) shipping documents.  

• Adhere to all plant safety and housekeeping policies. 

• Cycle counting of product inventory. 

• Help with re-packaging of product after damaging or returned from customer. 

• Operating forklift, or machinery to company standards (electric and propane) 

• Adheres to all plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standard operating procedures (SOPs). Follow all Food Contact packaging safety requirements as outlined in the SQF quality manual. 

Candidate Requirements: 

• Valid Class A CDL 

• Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude. 

• Strong organizational skills 

• Must be capable of working in hot/cold conditions. 

• Must be capable of standing for long periods of time. 

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs. 

• Strong communication skills both oral and written. 

• Must be able to read basic English. 

• Experience with ERP Systems and TMS Systems preferred  

• Experience with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel 

• Previous production/warehouse experience preferred 

• Material handling equipment experience (pallet jacks, forklifts). 

• Due to fluctuating production levels, employees may be asked to work beyond normally scheduled work hours or less than normally scheduled work hours. You may also be called in during non-scheduled hours. 

• Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
