Job Description

Shift- Monday- Friday (Days)

Compensation: $23.88-$31.78

 

Position Overview:

This role’s primary function will be to facilitate all resin handling and storage for the facility. You will also

oversee all incoming and outgoing freight which includes plant supplies and food packaging products. The

Resin Clerk will operate industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries. The resin clerk will also

conduct cycle counts, data entry, and complete reports.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Address daily resin inventory requirements.
  • Work with Railroad and other resin carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor daily resin consumption and communicate resin inventory / delivery with production team.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Complete cycle counts as assigned and communicate results.
  • Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management (IE. Pick list, PGI)
  • Uphold the warehouse standards by maintaining items in their designated areas, including, but not
  • limited to trash, pallets, forklift trucks, pallet jacks, boxes and finished goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Shipping/Receiving internal and external Dock areas as well as Warehouse
  • work areas.
  • Communicate with vendors, drivers, suppliers and/or contractors with attention to their safety,
  • building security and customer service.
  • Replenish point of use shelves (POUS) as assigned.
  • Complete rework of finished goods pallets, as needed.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program
  • Minimum of 2 years’ lift truck/clamp truck experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications):

  • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree.
  • Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: (if applicable) · Climb 60 Foot Silos · Carry 50lbs at least 500 Feet
