Job Description

 

Materials Coordinator - Hiring Immediately! - Corsicana, TX

 

Available Shift: Monday - Friday 7a - 3:30p

 

Starting Pay Rate: $23.19 per hour

  • Maintains a safe, clean work environment while performing all tasks
  • Perform set-up and unloading of resin and talc from railcars follow railcar unload procedure.
  • Maintains records and time reports as required.
  • Performs quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by management in verbal or written instructions.
  • Assist in the training of other employees.
  • Participate in continuous improvement team and activities.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments.
  • Establishes and monitors capacity and inventory levels for respective business unit; reviews material and supply procurement, working with Material Buyers to ensure materials are available to satisfy production schedules
  • Prepare WMS orders to obtain necessary materials, tools and equipment
  • Determines order quantities and safety stocks to optimize customer service and departmental key performance indicators
  • Works with inter-functional teams to create and implement changes in process and systems related to planning and scheduling

 

Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years of material/production planning and inventory control experience.

 

Language Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; use common fractions and decimals.

 

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Oracle, Excel, Lotus Notes.

 

Work Environment:  Manufacturing environment; somewhat noisy and subject to temperature fluctuations.
