***This is a part-time position, with an expected 24 hours of work per week. Two days per week in office in Florence, KY with one day remote.

Job Duties:

• Broad-based financial role with a wide range of responsibilities including monthly accounting and reporting, financial analysis, addressing accounting issues, and internal controls work.
• Directly reports to Accounting Senior and assists with month end close and recurring duties throughout the month. Special projects as assigned.
• Duties include but are not limited to monthly journal entries, cleanup of old/unused accounts and transactions, reporting of inventory and production metrics to provide to the plants, recording monthly payroll entries, and other work as assigned.
• Analyze and review high quality and timely balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Develop strong relationships with internal team members and interact with inter-department teams to ensure effective and accurate reporting for prompt decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Prior accounting experience for a manufacturing company is preferred.
• Completed or in-process Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to complex problems.
• Should possess an excellent ability to raise questions and issues as encountered in a timely and concise way.
• Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
