Job Description

Recycle Maintenance Lead| HIRING IMMEDIATELY | North Vernon, IN

 

Compensation Includes:

  • $34.00 per hour

 

Available Shift:

  • 6am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Overtime/ being on call when needed is required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with the installation and repair of all machinery/equipment in conjunction with the day-to-day activities of maintenance technicians

  • Performs equipment and repair parts data entry and management/ Maximo

  • Assists other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and training

  •  May perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments

  •  Implement and maintain an effective maintenance management system and repairs parts inventory control system through Maximo software

  •  Responsible for the safety and training of Maintenance technicians.

  •  Responsible for supporting equipment for the plant such as air compressors, chillers, and pumps.

  • Responsible for housekeeping in our designated areas

  • Ensure crews have vacation coverage

  • Responsible for ensuring adequate maintenance coverage in the Converting Department.

  • Responsible for communicating various information to their crews, example First aids, TIRS, procedure changes.

  • Sending daily reports

  •  Follow the escalation plan and reporting part issues to Maint. Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven, verifiable experience as a maintenance technician is required. Skills testing may be conducted to confirm qualifications.
  • High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree from a college or technical school preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Experience with Maximo preferred
  •  Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
