Responsibilities

 

 

Key Job Requirements

  • • Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
  • • Accurately control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping.
  • • Accurately account for all material movements, including in-plant product holds.
  • • Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned.
  • • Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety information, and packaging diagrams.
  • • Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process.
  • • Other duties as necessary.

Education & Experience

  • • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • • Basic math and computer skills.
  • • Forklift certification.
  • • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • • Strong organizational skills.
  • • Must understand Warehouse Management Systems and processes.

ADA Essential Functions

Must be able to:

  • • Work 12-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods.
  • • Climb approved ladders and movable steps.
  • • Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
  • • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 65 lbs (two-person or mechanical assist required above 65 lbs).
  • • Possess adequate problem-solving ability and determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments.
