Responsibilities

Starting Pay Rate: $23.58 an hour - paid weekly

 

Shift: Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm (OT as needed)

 

Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing the dock receiving area, overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of vendor and UPS shipments to including record keeping and invoice reconsolidation, coordinating the organization of goods, and insuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Duties performed by this position will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Oversee and manage receipts of incoming shipments at the dock
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packaging slips
  • Work with the Procurement team on any delivery discrepancies along with other compliance concerns
  • Ensure that all deliveries are properly labeled, sorted and moved to the appropriate storage areas
  • Promote a positive and safe work environment addressing any concerns or conflicts
  • Executes receiving policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of all inbound deliveries
  • Maintains appropriate records for all inbound good receipts, (Non-poly and MRO)  
  • Acts as a Liaison between MFG planning & Procurement to ensure inbound deliveries are received on delivery day to support the manufacturing schedule
  • Prepares daily reports summarizing daily activities including any challenges
  • Provides feedback on Vendor Ontime performance

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree or relevant certification preferred in logistics or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory software
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); BY (Blue Yonder) a plus
  • Self-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail orientated, with high analytical ability
  • Excellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolution
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
