Compensation

  • Competitive pay rate of $26.92 per hour, paid weekly
  • Increases: Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases

Available Shift 

  • Rotating 12-Hours
  • Rotates every eight weeks.
  • 07:00 AM -07:00 PM
  • 07:00 PM-07:00 AM

Position Overview

The Stock Prep A&B position is responsible for managing the molded fiber batching process, the water-cleaning system, and the raw material pulp flow.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all documented procedures for the position.
• Manages the raw material used for pulp.
• Operate the digital control system to run the batching process.
• Monitor the system to ensure that all chemicals are utilized properly for production purposes.
• Responsible for transporting raw materials to ensure the continued operation of the manufacturing process.
• Monitors and performs all functions and operations in the pit.
• Audit standard conditions of pumps, valves and tank levels.
• Stock Prep B backfills the Stock Prep A and Mold Machine Operator, as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Informs Natural Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor of any problems.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains an excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Experience required:
• At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and
inspection of the product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Demonstrated record of proficiency in forklift operation and safety.
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Some proficiency in maintenance operations and chemical handling.


Skills
An individual must have the following skills in the Stock Prep A&B position:
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues effectively.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and to communicate with others professionally.
• Demonstrated ability sufficient to determine product quality, for example, carton
malformations, color verification, and structural integrity.
• Demonstrated hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for product
handling.

Physical requirements:
This position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include, but are not limited to
not limited to:
• Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
• Sitting for extended periods of time (occasional)
• Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (frequent)
• Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather,
dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)


Working conditions
An individual who works in the Stock Prep A&B position:
• Must have forklift certification or experience.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.


Education
High School Diploma or GED
